Coffee and food at Buffalo Trails Coffee House in Creston, BC

Family Owned

We opened our doors in 2008 to plant roots in the community. As the business grew, so did our family.

Local First

With our home in our hearts, we source what we can from the people we know across the Creston Valley.

Farm Fresh

Organic dairy, valley-grown produce, and quality meats from farmers who are masters of their craft.

Everyone Welcome

All it takes to join our family at The Buff is to walk in the door. Everyone welcome.

What we serve

Good food, simply made.

We believe less is more. Quality ingredients, honest combinations, served seven days a week.

Coffee

Drinks made with Kootenay Meadows organic milk and cream — a family-run certified organic dairy right here in the Creston Valley.

Breakfast & Lunch

Simple, quality combinations. We use Famous Fritz meats daily in our chili and soups — no fillers, no binders, no MSG.

Baked Goods

Baked in house, inspired by our valley. Less is more — let the ingredients do the talking.

Sourced from people we know

Local partners, valley grown.

Our valley is plentiful. These are the folks whose food and drink we're proud to serve at The Buff.

Kootenay Meadows

Family-run, certified organic dairy in the Creston Valley. No pesticides, GMOs, or chemical fertilizers on their land. We use their milk and cream for every drink.

Stoke Cold Pressed Juice

Hydraulic-pressed to keep nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes intact. Raw, unpasteurized, and always organic.

Kootenay Kombucha

Small-batch craft brewery from the Slocan Valley. Probiotic herbal elixirs brewed with a passion for health and whole foods. On tap.

Famous Fritz

Quality meats and service in the Creston Valley since 2005. No fillers, binders, sugars, or MSG — just quality meat and spices. In our chili and soups daily.

Local Fruit Stands & Farmers Market

During summer and fall we source fruits and vegetables from the fruit stands in our valley. The hard-working farmers here are masters of their craft, and it shows in the quality of their food.

“We look out for the ones we love, and we love the Kootenays. This defines us. All it takes to join our family at The Buff is to walk in the door. Everyone welcome.”
